The Harbormaster manages the jurisdictional waterways in the Town of Berkley including Taunton River, Assonet Bay and Boating Access Sites. The Harbormaster is responsible for administering permits for moorings and collecting fees consistent with Chapter 91A rules and regulations. The Harbormaster administers the Town operated Marine Unit with Police and Fire Department personnel to ensure safe boating in our waterways while also providing marine emergency response assets to our unique community.
