Detective Newman dedicated over 30 years of his life to serving and protecting the public, retiring as a full-time Major Crimes Detective in the town of Taunton. Following his retirement, he continued his invaluable service as a part-time detective in our own town of Berkley for over 10 years.
Detective Newman was not only a brilliant investigator but also a remarkable human being. His commitment to upholding justice, integrity, and compassion in his work exemplified the true essence of what it means to be a police officer. His dedication to his profession and unwavering sense of duty inspired all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
